An expressive typography book meant to weave two different pieces of writing into a visual and conceptual reflection of each other. Paired together are a letter from Helen Keller to the New York Symphony Orchestra as well as a descriptive essay of a waterfall by Liam O’Flynn. The first, a powerful experience in which Keller touched the vibrations of her radio which was playing Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony, and felt as if she could hear the full effect of the music. O’Flynn’s essay acts as a more physical and visual metaphor for Keller’s letter, and the typography throughout the book is meant to reflect the content of both writings.
